Project Assistant/Field Technician

Job Description: To provide project support and field services to Resource Management, Inc. (RMI). The Project Assistant will perform field work, and project and sales support services for managing RMI residuals. The position will include site management, spreading, topsoil blending, soil and material sampling, permitting activities, sales support, documentation and recordkeeping, and miscellaneous other duties. Work will be performed in a manner to maximize efficiency and contain costs for RMI while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Safety shall be the highest priority at all times. This position shall be assigned to projects primarily based in New Hampshire, but employee shall be available for assignments throughout all of New England and eastern New York. Employee shall work primarily out of the New Hampshire RMI office. Required Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree and 1 year experience in environmental, agricultural, soil science, or related professional field; or demonstrated equivalent expertise. Background in agricultural or dirt work/excavation a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Can operate conventional farm or construction equipment • Capable of solving logistical scheduling and equipment issues • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of software products (Word, Excel) capable with general office equipment and digital equipment (cell phones, cameras, etc) • Excellent written and oral communications skills • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills • GPS site mapping; soil sampling and crop evaluation • Familiarity with environmental regulations and/or compliance management • Professional attitude and ability to perform in a progressive, fast paced environment • Team-oriented to support projects; and excels at working independently and managing multiple responsibilities Compensation: The Project Assistant/Field Technician will receive a competitive salary commensurate with established skills and experience.
