Project Manager/Nutrient Management

Resource Management, Inc. (RMI), has an immediate opening for a Project Manager/Nutrient Management. This full-time position will focus on assisting with the development and management of individual and collective site nutrient budgets consistent with regulatory requirements, maximizing capacity for RMI residuals utilized in all applications; assisting with the development and management of permitted land application sites, to include coordinating and acting as lead RMI representative for field work; and supervising field staff. This work will be performed consistent with applicable permits and local, state and federal regulations. The position is based at RMI’s offices in Holderness, NH, but the employee shall work on assignments throughout the company’s areas of operations.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated management skills, be comfortable with dealing with the public, enjoy working out-of-doors, be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision, and possess a demonstrable level of skill operating agricultural equipment (tractors, spreaders, front-end loaders, skid steers, etc.). Additionally, this candidate must be detail oriented and able to demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ACT! or other relational database. The individual must be proficient in written/verbal communications, be able to quickly develop a thorough understanding of the company’s product line, customer base and the regulatory environment in which the company operates, and possess a keen and enthusiastic interest in environmental protection and maintenance.

Required Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in science, agriculture, environmental studies or other related field coupled with a minimum of two year’s applicable experience which must include supervision of direct staff. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Compensation:
